There’s something about fringe that makes me feel like dancing around in a grassy field. It’s one of those trends that I’m so happy to see come back into fashion. The vintage rock and roll feel it exudes gives me so much life. Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong decade, but lucky for all of us, everything comes back over time! Now let’s dive into this look deeper and talk about the star of this look that is this Maurie & Eve top.
First of all, I adore knit everything. The sheer comfort and how you can throw it on at any moment…I mean, how could you not love a good knit?! But what makes this piece standout from the rest would have to be the beautiful detailing. In addition to the fringe, I fell for the low front, side slits, cut outs and relaxed fit. I chose to wear a flirty bralette that would peek out from time to time with natural movement. You could wear this universal top with pants like I did, with a pair of shorts or a skirt, or even throw it over your bikini at the beach. To dress up the casual look, I stepped into some of my favorite Sartore sandal heels fresh from Paris. The heels deliver an edgy quality to the ensemble, so I decided to throw my hair into a loose messy braid. To complete this chic laid-back look, I sprinkled on a very delicate necklace and a couple of gold rings, allowing the knit to really shine.
How are you liking this fringe trend? Do you have a go-to knit that you throw on all the time?
