HOLDING ON TO SUMMER
As a SoCal native, I am definitely spoiled with perfect weather. As fall weather finally reaches us Californians and we actually get to pull out our jackets and coats, I still enjoy taking advantage of the days that feel like summer hasn't left yet. Baring a bit of skin with this Missguided bralet and ripped Topshop skinnies allows me to embrace the sun while welcoming fall with my choice of colors. Obviously black is a staple and makes up about 98% of my wardrobe because it matches everything and can be worn year-round. The rust crop and brown shoes that match the color of the changing leaves are how I make my nod to the season as I slowly transition from warm to cold.
Next, of course, we can't forget about accessories! This time, I grabbed a pair of my favorite Wildfox sunnies and some silver jewelry (very rare for me!) to match the hardware on my top. The low drop on this crop was the perfect opportunity for me to get creative with my necklace choice. I decided to make a statement with a fun piece that I got from Free People a while back. They've got so many great accessories that scream "Hey, look at me!" (TIP: Whenever your outfit needs some upgrading, simply adding a bold necklace can do just the trick. Try a dramatic necklace like this one or layering a few different pieces together!) I think I can speak for everyone that's over the heat and ready for the cold by saying "IT'S ABOUT TIME!" Now...let the layering fun begin!
