ROME-ING THE COLOSSEUM

A few weeks ago, the hubby and I went on a lovely European vacation. One of the many beautiful places that we got to explore was Rome, Italy. The first stop on our tour of Rome was the historical Roman Colosseum. We've only read about and seen photos of this place in books...it was so surreal to finally see it in person!

One of the many challenges of being a tourist is dressing comfortably while still looking fashionable. Keeping this in mind, I kept it simple with one of my favorite tank tops (from Target...I have almost every color. Love the fit and feel and it goes with everything!), some light and loose cotton cargo pants for comfort, a cardigan tied around my waist in case it cooled down later that evening, and a baseball cap to protect my face from the beaming sun. Finishing off my outfit with black sandals and gold accessories, I'd say I was properly dressed for a full day of "Rome-ing" the streets of Rome!
