Let’s be honest, we all love an outfit that’s already done for us. I can attest to often wanting to just throw something on that will still look cute, despite being in a rush. This Missguided shift dress is a wonderfully functional piece to have for situations like those. Not only are shift dresses super comfortable, but they look great on nearly any body type! I love this ones simplicity, from the bold stripe detailing to its casual and loose cut. It’s a dress that can be worn any day in multiple ways…which I’m all about. 

I could, of course, go the obvious route and wear some black converse or a cool sneaker. Some days, for a more edgy look, I might choose to put on some mean pointed boots or booties. This time, I opted for my BCBGeneration strappy heels to match the lines on the dress. This shoe adds a nice feminine touch to this sort of “borrowed from the boys” ensemble. (A red lip could be a lovely addition to spice it up as well!) I chose to go sans accessories to let the piece really shine on it’s own. (I love me some minimalism!) It doesn’t really need much, since the contrast on the neck and sleeves can almost act as the jewelry.

I challenge you to look in your closet and try to wear a piece three ways. Have fun and don’t limit yourself. By simply switching out shoes and hairstyles, you’ll be surprised at how much you can truly get out of your wardrobe!
