Summer is still in full effect, especially here in hot LA. But just when we feel like we've settled into the sunny season, fall comes creeping up on us. Stores and magazines are sprawled with fall and winter wear...where has this year gone?! Luckily for us in Cali, the summer feels are all year, but that doesn't mean we can't start slowly transitioning into the fall style. Read on if you want to know how I begin to mix fall into my summer looks.

White is year round for me no matter what old school rules say. It's just a bright and fresh color that can make anyone look and feel more energized. It's a go-to piece that pairs hand-in-hand with any denim bottoms. The fall vibes come in with the texture of this top. Our minds usually go to cooler weather when we think of knit, but the style of this top makes it ideal for summer.

It's important to have a great pair of denim as a staple in every wardrobe. My choice of jeans are usually destroyed boyfriend, straight or skinny. There's just something so relaxed yet bad ass about those styles and you can wear them with any shoe. Currently, I love rocking these Tularosa straight jeans from Revolve...perfectly distressed and comfortable! I made another nod to fall with the accessory choices. The beautiful brown and camel colors are great to hold onto for the coming season! I wanted to go with a natural undone look, so I went ahead and styled my hair in a messy half-up half-down situation. (I even let my stubborn baby hairs loose!) To finish the outfit, I slipped into some statement rings and simple silver earrings to tie in the hardware from my suede and leather Chloé bag.
