VALENTINE'S DAY INSPO
Happy early Valentine’s Day, babes! Need some VDay look inspo? Whether you’re going out to a fancy dinner or a fun mini-golf date, here’s how to style one dress for either occasion.
This adorable LRD (little red dress) was pretty much made for this holiday. When I think of Valentine’s, of course I think of the color red, so this Lovers + Friends piece from Revolve had my name all over it. (It even has a sweetheart neckline…how fitting!) I love how the stretchy smocked fabric hugs my curves for a romantic silhouette. With the first outfit, ideal for a dressier date like a candle-lit dinner, I went with a more classic look. I covered up with a chic black blazer, cat-eye shades and a strappy pair of heels. But since some of us may not want to get too fancy and would rather keep it casual with mini-golf or a movie, I also styled a dressed down option.
For my casual look, I threw over a striped button-up shirt that I tied at my waist. To keep the look fun and light, I slipped into my go-to white tennis shoes…I’m all about stylish comfort! To accessorize, I layered on an assortment of dainty gold necklaces and rings. And to top it all off, I opted for some bright reflective shades to keep the colorful theme alive. This look is perfect for those looking to keep it chill yet cute this Valentine’s Day!
